Andy Stanley’s disdain for the Holy Scriptures is a well-established fact, and it is nothing new that he has been vocal in his condemnation of the inerrancy and authority of the Word of God.
Andy Stanley says “theological diversity” is his church’s strength because it models what the Kingdom of God looks like—because nothing says “unity in Christ” like a theological free-for-all where everyone gets to pick their own contradictory “truth,” right?
Apparently, the Kingdom of Andy Stanley’s god is a place where doctrines and biblical teaching is just a buffet line, and you can skip the parts you don’t like, all in the name of diversity. Who cares if you believe in the Trinity? Who cares if Jesus is divine or not? Who cares about any of that stuff?
Who knew that centuries of church fathers, martyrs, and councils were just wasting their time trying to nail down what Scripture actually teaches? According to Stanley, the real path to spiritual maturity is to embrace every contradictory idea under the sun and call it unity.
Maybe next he’ll tell us that confusion is the new clarity and chaos is the new order—because, why not?

I mean I have not but to hear you all talk his dad was not like this.
Andy Stanley is a douchebag.
I wonder if disagreement over Andy’s preaching strained Charles and his wife marriage.
once you cut the chord you’re the mercy of the wind.
maybe not the catchiest thing I’ve come up with but still.
“Andy Stanley is a douchebag.”
There you go insulting douche bags again!
“I wonder if disagreement over Andy’s preaching strained Charles and his wife marriage.”
Why do ask this? Did Charles and his wife have problems? I don’t know much about the guy sorry.
Well, Charles Stanley’s word isn’t worth much. He vowed he would step down from the pulpit if he got divorced. He got divorced. He didn’t step down.
I went to one of the senior Stanley’s services. He basically was preaching on a TV set before a live audience.
Adding some more to the story. They hired a pastor away from another large church to replace Stanley. After he resigned from his former church, Stanley changed his mind and the guy was left hanging.
It’s been a few years, but my best recollection is that the divorce was what caused the split between the father and son. The son sided with his mother. The son wasn’t openly pro homosexual at that point.
Charles was a very well-known Baptist minister and author in the Atlanta area. He followed the Bible. My understanding is he and his wife separated before he passed away.
Not to mention a heretic.
Perhaps.
I reckon’ we’re all going to find out sooner or later, ain’t we Andy? Sometime this fellow is going to show up and I’ve read that he can be downright nasty and even mean to certain folk.
St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle, be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
He’s gay Jim!
“there’s only one real question to ask yourself...do you believe IN God or do You BELIEVE God?” L.Star. obvious where andy stands on this. Jesus stated that the devils believe and tremble. yes friends, the devils believe IN God but have no Salvation. a personal favorite verse tells us that Abraham BELIEVED God and it was accounted to him for Rightousness. hence the question...”do you believe IN God or do You BELIEVE God?” only you can honestly answer that question but keep mind that the heart of man is evil and desperately wicked, who can know it?
Andy is an educated fool preaches monsense
He’s nothing like his father.
Why do we need preachers if we can believe whatever we like?
Why do we read the Bible if it is just a collection of the musings of a bunch of dead guys?
Why believe in a god that doesn’t care what people think he wants and therefore doesn’t know what he wants or changes his mind constantly.
Andy must not believe that the words of Jesus are correct. Deal with it Andy. Good luck in being faithful Andy.
“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.” 2 Timothy 4:3-4
“Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, . “ Romans 1:22
Dr Stanley was rock solid in his preaching. Andy, well, the dude is lost.
