"It is necessary to develop a new [= immoral] approach to homosexuality and contraception," Don Maurizio Chiodi, a priest of the Italian Diocese of Bergamo and member of the Pontifical Academy Against Life since 2017, told Katholisch.de (2 August).
Chiodi has already made similar comments in 2019, and has since been known as the Italian James Martin in reference to the notorious homosexual activist. Francis appointed Chiodi, an immoral theologian, among the seven members of the Synod's study group on 'controversial doctrinal, pastoral and ethical issues'.
His way into moral decadence is the following: "If in the past we spoke of homosexuality as 'contra naturam', today we have to ask ourselves: what does 'natura' mean? This Latin word has many - very different - meanings, above all the meaning of universality, and we must recognize that universality is necessary for moral knowledge."
He wants a morality that is "committed to the experience and lived life [= sin] of an individual conscience" [while Christ calls sinners to conversion].
According to Chiodi, somebody engaging in homosexual fornication "does not perceive [God-given] sexual difference as attractive" so that this "sexual orientation" does not depend on his [wrong] decision.
Francis' homosexual manifesto 'Fiducia supplicans' that invents a [pseudo] blessing of homosexual concubines shows for Chiodi "a new [= immoral] pastoral attitude" and he wants to "reformulate" the "theoretical attitude" toward homosexuality.
Thus, instead of converting the sinner, Chiodi wants to ignore the Word of God and turn the Church into a useless institutions that justifies sins.

uh...shouldn’t God be consulted first before going and changing anything?
Liviticus 18 - 25 address this as does the first chapter of Paul’s letter to the Romans.
It appears the SINod wishes to normalize sodomy. They cannot do that and remain Catholic. Just can’t do. Simple as that.
If the majority of the clergy is gay it will be difficult to stop the Church from eventually making gay activity something to encourage rather than keep declaring it sinful.
Don Maurizio Chiodi, a priest of the Italian Diocese of Bergamo and member of the Pontifical Academy Against Life since 2017, told Katholisch.de (2 August).
I would ask this man a few very simple questions: If your parents would have been homosexuals would you even exist? Would any of us? Any living creature on the Earth? Seems to me that if all the creatures on the Earth that the Creator made were homosexual from the outset nothing would be here.
Not necessarily. It takes a real reformer to come in and start a movement to clean house. The Church was in very similar straits a thousand years ago when there was a very high level of vice among the clergy, including sodomy. A Benedictine monk named Peter Damian wrote the “Book of Gomorrah,” detailing and blasting homosexuality among the clergy. Damian’s efforts launched real reforms among the clergy including a genuine crackdown on sodomites. That’s the way you do it, not with more of the same as Bergoglio and his minions promote.
