Tisha B’Av, the 9th day of the month of Av, is the saddest day on the Jewish calendar, on which we fast, deprive ourselves and pray. It is the culmination of the Three Weeks, a period of time during which we mark the destruction of the Holy Temple in Jerusalem.

This is just to note some of the calamites (danger that is) - (I'm not saying that's a good thing - NOT AT ALL)

There's a few that come to mind though there is definitely more info out there:

1) The First Temple destroyed 2) The Second Temple destroyed 3) The Bar Kochba Rebellion put down 4) the Jews were expelled from Spain 1492 5) The First World War started in 1914

I thought I had read that Hitler's Nazis started the Treblinka ovens on the 9th of Av but i can't find that right off.

I'm just saying that Satan often seems to take advantage of this date against the Jews.

I'm just wondering if the Mullah's in Iran see the approaching 9th of Av date. Well, there's no way to be certain. The October 7, 2023 massacre was 1 day after the 50th anniversary of the October 6, 1973 Yom Kippur War.

Whoops that list got messed up in that part of the thread

Now a Bible Prophecy guy like me expects a Third Temple in Jerusalem - which will see the Abomination that Causes Desolation as spoken of by Jesus in Matthew 24:15=22.

BTW, I had looked at a couple of live cams of the Western Wall in Jerusalem early last evening. It's always amazing that one can see, from anywhere in the world, THE most important piece of real estate on the entire planet. Jerusalem, the Cup of Trembling. When the Two Witnesses are killed in Revelation chapter 11 and their bodies lie in the streets for 3-1/2 days, I expect the webcams will be on their bodies 24/7. I'll have to post the verses later.

There is a tradition that Tisha B’Av became a date associated with disaster because it was the date the Israelites heard the report of the spies and were afraid to enter the Promised Land.
