Olympics Opening Ceremony Features Drag Queen’s Mocking the Last Supper

This week, the Paris Olympics opening ceremony featured a drag queen mockery rendition of the Lord’s Supper. Has the world truly sunk so low? The depravity even surprises me, as one who’s been journaling the downgrade for years.

This grotesque parody is a glaring symbol of moral decay, and watching the Olympics nowadays is akin to partaking in the evil works of Satan.

The Olympics, once a symbol of unity, now promote agendas that defy anything remotely Christian. While a drag queen mocking the Last Supper may be entertaining to heathens—it’s a brazen assault on our faith.

Yet, are we complicit in this mockery by even gracing the Olympics with our eyes fueling their ad dollars? Ephesians 5:11 commands, “Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.”

This is part of a larger spiritual war. Satan cloaks sin as progress. Reject the normalization of blasphemy. Boycott the Olympics if you want to. But our allegiance is to Christ, not a world that glorifies sin. James 4:4 warns, “Friendship with the world is enmity with God.”

By refusing to watch, we declare that we stand with Christ, upholding our faith’s sanctity. Expose evil, reject a fallen world, and live in God’s truth. Stand firm, reject darkness, and affirm your commitment to Christ. This is our duty, our calling, our stand.

I am Jewish, and thus not a believer in Jesus. However, I think that it is intolerable to mock another person‘s religion, and this was an absolute disgrace and insult. So much for the people who demand “tolerance.“ They only seek tolerance for their views and actions, not for anybody who lives, thinks, believes or speaks differently than they do. The lines have been drawn between decency and indecency - choose wisely.

While I appreciate your kind thoughts, you’re not going to get me to even consider converting. To me and all believing Jews, there is but one God and He needs no intermediaries to deal with us. I don’t want to get into a religious debate with you or anyone else - I think that a universal condemnation of what happened in Paris is much more in everyone’s best interest.

And no, they couldn’t mock Islam because those guys are not allowed to create paintings or make photos.

I watched the ceremony and thought it was the worst I'd ever seen, and I've seen every one since they've been televised. To me, there was no rhyme nor reason to the sequencing of the "acts" and the Olympic athletes. The whole thing was a confusing, disjointed, mess. The highlight was La Marseillaise by an opera singer. Everything else was a mishmash of who-knows-what.
