I’d go so far as to say the ministry has a problem.
Not all pastors everywhere of course, but this is happening too often.
Anyone who would leverage their church position to molest a child should be destined for the hottest level of hell.

Florida man. Should have known.
TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A pastor from Palmetto was accused of buying child pornography online, according to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.
Jonathan Edward Elwing, 43, was the senior pastor at Palm View Baptist Church in Palmetto.
The sheriff’s office searched Elwing’s home and the church on Friday. Deputies said they found four “sexually explicit photos of children” on his cellphone and he used cryptocurrency to purchase the material online.

The problem is the tradition church keeps espousing what Paul called, “Another Gospel” (Gal. 1:6) - the Old Covenant of the Law which was done away (Heb. 8:13).
Hence the traditional church continues to teach a false doctrine destroying many with the demands of the law which STRENGTHENS sin (1 Corinthians 15:56). But which those in Christ are not under the law.
“For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.” Rom. 6:14
Those in Christ are NOT under the law which strengthens sin but under grace which defeats sin. There’s only two things that defeats sin: grace and death.

I don’t think the passage suggests that we should drown anybody.

It’s been a week, has there been any research on if it’s true, or has he admitted? On the one hand I don’t want us Christians to jump on our own every time the world accuses us of something. But on the other hand, if true I want him kicked out of church leadership and put behind bars.

But it doesn’t say we shouldn’t.

I think the point is that we may suffer far more for leading others into sin than for our personal sins.

Reformed Baptist ministers tend to be amillennial not believing in the end times views of dispensationalism, which dominate Southern Baptist, independent Baptist, and Pentecostal churches. Yet the decadence and immoral behavior rampant in all factions of the Christian church seem to be pointing to an end times scenario. In the DFW area over the last few weeks we have seen three high profile pastors, Robert Morris, T.D Jakes, and Tony Evans, resign due to scandals.

This "pastor" needs to be introduced to "Chip." Chip doesn't judge. In fact, he's very non-judgmental.

Thank you.
I’m not a pastor. Actually right now I’m a lawyer but I believe God has called me to preach the Word, more like a prophetic ministry.
I may end up a bit like Daniel who both served in the Court and who God used also in preaching the Word prophetically.
