False teacher, as predicted by Jesus.
Televangelists. No one is safe from them.
I’ve been to Bethel, Redding a few times. I do know there can be individuals on any given day, doing something strange. I think Jesus had this. I have benefitted very much from their message. I don’t think Jesus would berate them for trying to do ‘miracles’ that he said ‘we would do’. He did upbraid, and rebuke them for the hardness of their heart and their blindness and unbelief. So if I error, I’d rather error trying to be ridiculous and doing something unusual believing God to work... like Jesus spitting and putting mud on a man’s eyes. THAT wouldn’t go well in today’s circles.
Chuck Parry is the Director of Healing Ministries at Bethel Church in Redding, California, and one of the primary teacher of the schools. According to his bio, his life is “marked by both faith and the miraculous” and he’s “seen the dead raised, food multiplied, storms move out of the way, the supply of heaven released through supernatural finances, and countless people healed and their lives transformed.”
Dead raised?
Prove it - where is the news story about that? No way something like that doesn’t go viral.
if such a ritual is not mentioned in the Bible and supported by at least one other passage, it is of Satan
Likely seen his bank account raised from the dead.
About 10 years ago, I was very happy to support my new colleague who decided to attend seminary. Over time, as I listened to her stories about the ‘seminary’ I had an encroaching sense of disquiet. It was a Word of Faith church, like Bethel.
It was then that I investigated Bethel and the Word of Faith ministries. I came across a video taken from a Bethel church service. The cell phone recorded what sounded like the wailing of hell-bound souls which filled that large building. It was the church expressing the moving of the ‘spirit’. I would have said many spirits.
I had to leave that friendship as I recoiled from her faith in herself to heal people if only they would trust her.She would interrupt our conversations with ‘God just gave me a word for you.’ She literally inserted her opinions into directives from God which she felt He wanted me to know.
She described scenarios with her friends where God gave each of them ‘words’ for the others. It’s like they are all actively ‘channeling’ what God wants them to say to others.
She also told me that the pastor came to the sanctuary to turn the lights off, but that, “... we were all lying on the floor, slain in the spirit, and I was supposed to give a ride home to one woman whom we could not awaken.”
She told me with some exasperation that people don’t realize that God can’t act until you ‘activate’ His will with your prayer.
The backlash from the public those 10 or so years ago drove that faith into hiding (Bethel is still out ‘n proud), but that faith is still there and thriving. I recently went to a church which I later realized was this Word of Faith movement in ‘stealth’ mode. Just a few clues that caught my attention:
1) the pastor asked in a gentle, smiling, but inside-joke manner, “Did I just give you a word? Did I? Did I just give you a word? I think I did.”
2) Also, I thought the baptism ceremony was oddly intense, with the church’s official telling God to ‘activate’ her spiritual gifts and seemingly giving her instructions on how to become a Christian. At some point he said, “God can’t...” and I missed the rest.
The people at the church were friendly and kind, and likely there for the many portions of the sermon which were good. I believe they are being intentionally deceived.
Bethel Church is a religious cult that has overtaken much of the Redding local government.
“Decently and in order”
People are always searching for hope and finding it in the wrong places. Bethel is one of those wrong places.
Send him to the hospitals.
He means he's seen them vote, so they must have been raised.

I like to just be like a little piggie getting down in the promises of God
.....
About 2,000 little piggies were possessed by Satan’s Legion ..
A perfect promise that of Satan’s 6,000 years, about 2,000 would be like having unclean doctrines of demons that the bible says shouldn’t be eaten or touched aka the Church Age..
