I had hoped it would be a post-rapture phenomenon — that the Church would be morally strong enough to hold back this evil as long as the Church stays on earth.

Genuine born again believers will.

But apparently, what's happening today is showing who is and who is not a genuine believer.

Lots of people can name the name of Christ, but if the walk doesn't match the talk, as in endorsing things God calls sin or hates, (abortion, sexual perversion, and anti-Semitism for example) then their claims to faith can be legitimately questioned.

It's merely lip service to claim to be a follower of Christ and walk in disobedience to Him.

Well stated and I 100% agree!

We’re seeing the wheat split from the tares right before our very eyes.

It really saddens me to be honest.
