[Catholic Caucus] Tucho's Embarrassing Presentation of Dignitas Infinita

Tucho Fernández began the presentation of the endless document "Infinite Dignity" on 8 April by reaffirming his support for Francis' discredited propaganda piece "Fiducia Supplicans".

He amused his audience by stating that "Francis has broadened our understanding of blessings" and protesting that "there are these kinds of blessings that do not meet the requirements of those in a liturgical context" - although this theory has long been refuted.

He believes that Francis has the right to invent "blessings" and sees a precedent in Francis' complete rejection of the death penalty.

Tucho Fernández expressed his hope that "Infinite Dignity" would generate as much "interest" as "Fiducia Supplicans", which, however, didn't generate "interest" but a universal rejection.

Asked whether the Church's teaching that homosexual acts are "intrinsically disordered" should be "changed", Tucho Fernández began to talk about formulations instead of content: "It is a strong expression that needs to be explained". He suggested that it should be changed, which means that the content is also changed: "Perhaps we could find an expression that explains more clearly what we [Francis and Tucho] mean".

According to Tucho, homosexual sins are disordered because "it has this characteristic compared to [sexual] relations between a man and a woman". In truth, there is no basis for comparing the marital act with sin.

Tucho again complained about laws that punish homosexual acts. He called them "painful" and lamented that "even some Catholics" [=all African bishops] defend these laws: "Of course we [Francis and Tucho and other homosexual activists] are in favour of decriminalisation", he said.

Diane Montagna asked Fernandez how the [supposedly] "infinite" dignity of the human person could be reconciled with the fact that people can end up in hell for all eternity. Tucho was again forced to dodge the question. He randomly babbled that the "possibility of hell" was an aspect of human freedom. But he could not explain how an allegedly "infinite" human dignity could be reconciled with eternal damnation.

Confronted with the "dignity" of the controversial trial of Cardinal Becciu, Tucho took refuge in his private idea of authoritarianism as his alternative to truth and justice. Reading from books he had brought with him, he announced that "religious submission of intellect and will" must be given to a Pope [even if he speaks nonsense?].

Accordingly, Tucho attacked "bishops and cardinals" who accuse Francis of heresy and who should "obey" Francis, because in Bergoglio's Vatican truth is based on obedience and power - as in any other tyranny.
