Our God!
How Wonderful and Excellent is Your Holy Name!
And How Present and Eternal Your Word,
Even To This Day.
Abba Father, You Alone Are Worthy,

The Eternal Rock of Ages,

It Is You Who Created The Vast Singularities of Space

Isaiah 54:

This is the last meditation from this particular verse...and what a verse it was! Six Names for God, all packed into two little sentences. Some of the names are very intimate: Maker, Husband, Redeemer. These are personal and imply a Relationship. The other three, "Lord of Hosts", "Holy One of Israel", and "God of All The Earth", are of National, International, and Global significance. God is the God of Israel, yes, but He doesn't just occupy a chair in an international pantheon. He is the One True God, for ALL People.

God of All The Earth is Adon Olam, and there are so many Hebrew Songs based on this Name that it was hard to choose just one. Here is a Modern One.

There are also a number of more traditional settings that are actually part of the Liturgy.

This is a Beloved Name for Our God, and is very much a part of Jewish Culture.

Tomorrow we will explore a whole new verse in Isaiah, one that has Three Names. See if the grouping of those Three Names remind you of anything:Isaiah 33:22
