A Vatican II Moment: The Chicken Dance Mass

From Germany -- of course. And during Communion...

Video

Active Participation is just so much fun! At least it isn't that horrifying "Traditional Latin Mass", no sir. (Diocese of Passau)

I’m not Catholic. Could someone explain to me why the Latin Mass is superior to a regular mass? (Of course, I can see how some of the “trendy” masses would be wrong).

The latin mass is a minor problem in comparison to the Pope’s promotion of LGBT, socialism, uncontrolled migration, and green economic devastation.

So, the problem is with St. Pope Paul IV, not St. JPII, Benedict or Francis. That’s 60 years of problems and no new Pope will know of anything but VII. Impeach! Clawback Sainthoods! Shoot the Holy Spirit - all in good faith!

Pope Paul IV died in 1559.

Move along.

Full disclosure - I can’t stand the current false pope.

Yet, from a non-Catholic perspective, the preference for the Latin mass is, to us, like the Catholic Church’s former opposition to the bible being translated into all the different spoken languages in Europe before the reformation; puting the bible in the hands of all to study.

To us the dispute is not one with a biblical basis, just one of institutional “tradition”.

Thanks for noticing a typing error. He can be revoked too, as far as you know he liked the gays too.

You forgot the jolly pope, John XXIII. He's the one who really got your modernists' ball rolling.

The Mass — any Catholic Mass — connects us to the Sacrifice of Christ on the Cross.

The Latin Mass connects us to the Early Western Church when our faith was most directly shaped by the Fathers of the Church, both East and West.

Anything that was added later: prayers in vernacular, moody secular music replacing choral chants, priest facing the congregation like a leader in a class, casual-looking portable altar, church service seen as a lesson and a meal — damages the connection.

The fear is that the signal is drowning in the noise.

They’re not “gays”. You’re using their language.

They are homos, aka, sodomites.

The Catholic Church did not oppose vernacular translations, they opposed BAD translations, ands there were a number of them.

Please not I have used Catholic, protestant and secular sources.
