I created a dozen videos from Genesis, up through Abraham putting his knife to Isaac’s throat, and am trickling them into publication. But with Easter approaching I’ve suspended that series for now—Isaac must wait a bit longer for a wife. I’m preparing the whole range of Easter videos, which I’ll begin releasing in three or four weeks..

I don’t recall any mention of Adam and Eve mourning in the text but I may be wrong. More about God dealing with Cain. If I am correct is this logical extrapolation from it? Sort of an early Chosen?

4:25 Adam lay with his wife again, and she gave birth to a son and named him Seth, saying, “God has granted me another child in place of Abel, since Cain killed him.”

Aside from the extensive conversation between God and Cain, for which I found little art, this is the family's recorded followup to the murder. At a bare minimum, Eve missed Abel and welcomed his replacement.

Parental reaction to an innocent child's death is always mournful. Every artwork consists of the artist's assumptions, extrapolations and conclusions.
