With a big "AMEN" we come to the end of this series. Since it is Saturday, and in February when it's more comfortable to stay indoors, it might be nice to listen to The Whole Thing.

This is a very nice live performance from 2021 by the Academy of Ancient Music.

But wait...is Handel's Messiah really "Ancient"? In my search for images for this Thread I came across dozens, if not hundreds of Vinyl Double Albums, Compact Disc Sets, Podcasts, Amateur Performance Posters, and Announcements of Messiah Sing-Alongs at Christmas Time. The "Hallelujah Chorus" has been used as background music for movies, commercials, and cartoons. (usually to illustrate a miracle of some kind). "Messiah" has been adapted to such diverse musical styles as Rock, Gospel, Soul, and Reggae. Instruments range from Baroque Period Instruments to Electric Guitars and Conga Drums. And still, the Message is the same:

Hallelujah, for The Lord, Our God, The Omnipotent Reigns!"

Tomorrow we will begin a Deep Dive into the Hebrew and Greek for The Names and Titles of God.
