I think he said it best right there but it's still worth reading.
I don't know how much simpler it can get.
It was bad enough having dinner at the ‘home’ of a gay couple. I couldn’t imagine going to one of their ‘weddings’.
Lots of things a “Christian” shouldn’t do.
Doesn’t stop most from doing it anyway.
Cheat on your spouse.
Steal money from the til.
Lie on your taxes
On and on.
As noted before Sin vs Sinner and all that
But what some “Pastor” has to say bears no weight for me.
G_d is in His Heaven, and we will all face Judgement.
Of that, I’m certain.
All the rest are just taking your money.
A homosexual marriage doesn’t even meet the standards of what a marriage consists of, because the standard were set by God.
“I am certain most of the moms, dads, and grandparents of Sodom and Gamorrah were not homosexuals. However they received the same judgement because they did not stand against the abominations but went along with them. “
I see that with Christians today. They are against it until it’s their son or daughter then they say “oh but he’s a nice boy” to which I say “he’s still going to hell for being homosexual” and they get pissed at me!
Niceness is a choice just like engaging in homosexual behavior.
” I couldn’t imagine going to one of their ‘weddings’.”
They are giving the middle finger to God.
I’ve been invited to a couple of gay weddings. At the time, I had a job that was very “weekend” focused. It was very easy for me to thank them for the invitation but tell them I wasn’t able to attend.
It wasn’t like I didn’t have months of notice.
Why waste my time at a farce like that? The concept mocks and invalidates “be fruitful and multiply”.
The debate really kicked up when Alistair Begg, formerly thought of as a solid guy, came out with his sermon and statement on homosexual marriage.

I worked in HR for a city. My boss, the Director, told us in her staff that we were expected to attend the “committal ceremony” of one of the Fleet Maintenance “ladies” to her freakish significant other. On a Saturday.
LOL!
That Begg guy ... does he have a child who’s homosexual? That factor seems to sway a person’s formerly logical and principled thinking.
*
I have seen nothing indicating that.
At least he hasn’t done a full Andy Stanley.
But, but males can have babies!! Yeah, the world has yet to see a XY pop an 8 pounder out their wee wee.
‘...to which I say “he’s still going to hell for being homosexual”
you think it’s a peachy keen idea to tell people their child is going to hell based solely on your opinions...?
I disagree with pastor Begg on his advice but there is room for disagreement. I read his explanation of why he said what he said. He is NOT condoning homosexuality, he is trying to keep an Avenue open to show God’s love. Tough subject
“Behold, this was the guilt of your sister Sodom: she and her daughters had pride, excess of food, and prosperous ease, but did not aid the poor and needy.”
The “sin of Sodom” appears to be something more than simply sodomy.
Nobody is “going to hell” because they are “being homosexual.”
People go to hell by default. Everyone is hell-bound, regardless their sexual orientation.
It’s only through the grace of God that we’re able to trust in Jesus for salvation. It’s not about our “works,” it’s about Jesus.
