Jonathan Cahn has some interesting teachings about the history of Western civilization and its relationship to how those nations have treated the Jews.
They prosper when treating the Jews well, and collapse when they have persecuted them.
That sounds about right.
Seems like the Pax Romana ended when Rome obliterated Jerusalem - and the Barbarians entered therein.
Spain died shortly after the Inquisition.
