‘Bishop’ William Murphy is an international gospel recording artist, the “presiding Bishop of Worship in the FGBCF (Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship) International Ministries, and pastor of The dReam Center Church of Atlanta. According to his church bio, he is “truly an anointed man of God” who “walks with a trifecta anointing of Bishop, Intercessor, and Worshiper.

He is also pro-choice, recently ripped into people who were suggesting that famed heretic Carlton Pearson was anything less than a stellar man of God, performed a baby dedication for a same-sex couple, and is an arrogant, power-hungry bible twister of epic proportions.

On New Year’s Eve, his church had a 10:00 pm service to ring in the new year, dressing up the stage and decorating it as a big party. During his message, Murphy engaged in some power-tripping narcissism, telling folks that God told him if they wanted to have a “leap year” full of blessings, they needed to keep an eye on him and his prophecies.

There’s two things God told me you got to do to claim this leap year. The first thing- God said tell them they got to watch the prophet….you got to keep your eyes on your man of God. I’m not saying you need to be all up in my business, cuz my business aint your business. Do me a favor, tap your neighbor, and tell them, ‘My pastor’s business ain’t your business.’

The second, is to “work the prophecies” by “walking them out.” To make his point, the DJ on stage played Unk’s 2007 hit ‘Walk it Out,’ which contains the lyrics:

Well, there really are Bishops (check the original language meaning)

I was looking for a new church last year. I had become face book friends with a gal who was a church secretary at this new church. So I started going. It was good for a few weeks. I stopped going when they held a SUPER POWER Hollywood sermon on the pulpit floor. Pastors and others dressed up as Hollywood super power folks. Spiderman, Superman, Marvel guy, etc. They tried to tie a sermon to it all but I was disgusted
