A lot of people don’t understand the covenant that God made with Abraham.
It seems to be sort of a one way covenant, God will NEVER break it!
Man will, and has.
There’s a lot of misunderstanding on this thread - there always is when I post these 😉
God will never back out of anything He states.
He doesn’t change His mind.
He doesn’t get caught by surprise.
He is always slow to anger with His Children.
He will do what He promised “For His Name’s Sake”.
Ezekiel 36:22
“Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I do not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy name’s sake, which ye have profaned among the heathen, whither ye went.”
Deuteronomy 7:8
But because the LORD loved you and kept the oath He swore to your fathers, He brought you out with a mighty hand and redeemed you from the house of slavery, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.
Deuteronomy 9:6
Understand, then, that it is not because of your righteousness that the LORD your God is giving you this good land to possess, for you are a stiff-necked people.
Psalm 115:1
Not to us, O LORD, not to us, but to Your name be the glory, because of Your loving devotion, because of Your faithfulness.
A lot of people on this thread question God.
