‘Who created God?’ is an age-old question. Children sometimes ask it because they’re curious. But atheists more commonly ask it because they think it is a ‘gotcha’ question for Christians.
So, is it really a ‘gotcha’ question? Does God—like everything else in the universe—need a cause? Or have atheists made an error in logic in assuming this?
As Dr Don Batten explains, ‘Who created God?’ has a simple, logical answer—so Christians have no need to be intimidated! On the other hand, atheists have some explaining of their own to do when it comes to first causes!

How can you “know” that?
How can you possibly know what God was doing, yet you assume that He was doing “nothing”.
Maybe He was creating a parallel universe? (or a BILLIONS of them).
These are things you cannot know, nor do you “need” to.
Believe in Him. That’s all you need to know.
One of the greatest revelations of God given to us by His Son, the Lord Jesus, is this in John:
“God is spirit.”
He is in another dimension and cannot be sensed by the 5 senses. He is thus only known by faith.
BUT HE CAME IN THE FLESH so that He could be sensed by our 5 senses. He raised from the dead to prove he was God.
The evidence for this is greater than most any other fact in history.
Yet He is still only known by faith.
You are right. I don`t know that. That`s why i said apparently, meaning the Bible says nothing about it.
The Bible talks about the mysteries of God: things we will never understand but should marvel in. This is one of many.

Possibly Earth and Humans is just one experiment that God is running. Inhabitable planets are very distant from each other, and advanced civilizations are brief, possibly well under a hundred thousandths of an inhabitable planets existence. In combination these conditions provide excellent isolation between God’s experiments to prevent cross contamination.
A God that can create billions of stars and galaxies can easily attend to each civilization during its brief existence.
And it’s not clear whether humans were the objective of the earth experiment — maybe it was octupii or whales, and humans are an after effect that has to be cleaned up. He did wash away all but 8 that time.
