Modern Israel is no more a continuation of ancient Israel than are modern Greece or Egypt a continuations of their ancient namesakes. There is a fatal flaw in this argument: it ignores the LORD’s spoken and written promise. - Israel
Jeremiah 31:35-37
King James Version
35 Thus saith the Lord, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The Lord of hosts is his name:
36 If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the Lord, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever.
37 Thus saith the Lord; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the Lord.
Jeremiah 33:24-26
King James Version
24 Considerest thou not what this people have spoken, saying, The two families which the Lord hath chosen, he hath even cast them off? thus they have despised my people, that they should be no more a nation before them.
25 Thus saith the Lord; If my covenant be not with day and night, and if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth;
26 Then will I cast away the seed of Jacob and David my servant, so that I will not take any of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: for I will cause their captivity to return, and have mercy on them.
- Greece has same (essential) language and Septuagint in Greek with majority of nation being Orthodox Christian.
- Egypt was conquered by Islam and only has minority Copts, perhaps more than 10%, descended from ancient Egypt but adopted Greek (language of Septuagint); so 10% or more

It sounds like you are saying that God’s promises to literal Israel were CONDITIONAL.
