He also opined that the Synod could be an opportunity to discuss “more urgent” topics, such as the loss of faith among youth, compared to which he says the discussion on women’s ordination is “trivial.” Speaking further on this loss of faith, Fisher noted that people who lose their faith look for “meaning” in “a lot of very destructive places.”

I’m seeing more and more bishops speaking up about how the Synod mustn’t/can’t contradict any teaching that has been handed down through the ages. I’m hopeful that this is the beginning of the end of this nonsense.
The devil does have a tendency to count his chickens before they’re hatched and thus, to show his cards too early. (I love to mix metaphors!) Perhaps this is what is happening here.
