I’m seeing more and more bishops speaking up about how the Synod mustn’t/can’t contradict any teaching that has been handed down through the ages. I’m hopeful that this is the beginning of the end of this nonsense.
The devil does have a tendency to count his chickens before they’re hatched and thus, to show his cards too early. (I love to mix metaphors!) Perhaps this is what is happening here.
Unfortunately, these bishops seem to think Vatican II was not contradictory to teachings handed down through the ages. They remain part of the problem until they wake up about Vatican II.
