Have you ever wondered why so many Muslim men are dedicated to killing Americans? Or why so many are willing to blow themselves up to kill Israelis? Or why they are so committed to blowing up random people in Bali, London, Madrid, etc.?
Orthodox Muslims are attacking non-Muslims all over the world. Why?
Because of memes. The technical definition of a meme is anything that can be copied from one mind to another. The custom of shaking hands, for example, is a meme. A melody is a meme. A recipe for lemonade is a meme. Even the word "meme" is a meme, which has just made a copy of itself in your mind.
One of the characteristics of memes is they can evolve because some memes are better at making copies of themselves than other memes. They get more copies of themselves into other minds.
So memes compete with each other and evolve. Part of the way they become better at making copies is to join together with other memes in a mutually-supporting group. A combination of memes (known as a "memeplex") is often able to get itself into more minds than single memes.
From a memetics standpoint, a religion is a memeplex — collection of memes. One of the memes might be, for example, "This is a holy book."
And the holy book itself is, of course, a collection of memes.
Let's look at how religious memeplexes evolve and compete. To begin with, let's assume we already have a religion established. It already has a holy book and millions of people already have a copy of the memeplex in their minds.
And then there is a slight variation.

Thx for posting.
It really seems as if we all have arrived at a “moment.”
And the converse.
Not to mention achievements to improve their lives like what the western Christians did.
They are doing it because their religion tells them to.. period.
Islam is not and never has been a religion of peace.
Fundamentalist Islam teaches Islam must take over the world and anyone who is not Muslim must convert to Islam, be subservient to Muslims or be killed, period.
The only obligation a faithful Muslim has to his “enemies” is invite them to convert… if they refuse they are free to do whatever they want to them… and I do mean anything and their “religion” not only condones but encourages is because anyone who isn’t a Muslim is just a beast of the land.
Here is no concept of live and let live in fundamentalist Islam.
Well put. There’s also no possibility of “reforming” islam. To even suggest it marks one as an apostate worthy only of death.
If western civilization is to survive islam must be extirpated from the face of the Earth forever.
Period.

Anyone who reads this will understand what is going on and what will be going on.
Tagline.
“There is no moderate islam. There is only islam.” Erdogan, President of Turkey and a NATO “ally”.

Not every Muslim is a fundamentalist... many are just muslim because of where they happened to be born...
Fundamentalist Islam however cannot be made “peaceful” there is nothing peaceful about it.
It doesn’t teach that you live a good life here (or bad life here) and get our eternal reward or punishment afterward. It teaches that the world will know peace when Islam conquers the world... and if you refuse islam you are nothing more than a beast of the land, period.
Islam has a 1400+ year history of violence.
When the powers that be came for Christ, he told his followers to put away their swords, and died for them.
When the powers that be came for Mohammed he told his followers you go kill them and die to protect me.
The believe that Fundamentalist Islam is in any way compatible with western civilization and ideologies is certifiably insane.
Theologically the difference is simple:
Jesus died for your sins, Mohammed killed you for them.
Oh I am well aware of that quote.
Islam. When worshipping Satan just isn’t evil enough.
They say the greatest trick the devil has ever played is convincing man he does not exist.
I say his greatest trick was convincing man that he is God, Islam is the execution of that trick.
Well said.
