Because US oil companies once had lucrative concessions in Arab countries, the US was historically neutral in regards to the Israeli/Arab country conflict.
It was only because of nationalizations and the 1973 desperation of Israel that the US wound up supporting Israel.
Israel used to have to buy French fighter jets.
As for the map, not all Muslim countries are Arabic and many Arab countries are mainly uninhabitable desert.

Russia would like a warm water port on the Mediterranean and would like to see US weapons go to Israel rather than to Ukraine.
As for the Democrats, getting elected is the most important consideration.
As for the Republicans, getting elected is the most important consideration.
The more Muslims the US gets, the less support Israel can expect from the US. In the future financial transfers to Israel from the US may be made illegal due to growing US Muslim political power.
Asylum to the US should never be granted to those opposed to any group now living life in the USA. My mother’s parents fled to the US from a Muslim country.
The US needs to honor previous grants of asylum, most especially when other options are available to asylum and refugee applicants.
