I am reading a book about the meaning of Book of Revelation;

The breaking of the 2nd Seal is Worldwide War which follows the breaking of the 1st Seal which is a period of False Peace.

The breaking of the 1st Seal begins the appearance of the 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse, the first horse is white and the second horse is red.

Think about it, you could include the 20-year war in Iraq and Afghanistan or the beginning of the war in Ukraine, which is now morphing into a full-scale war in the Middle East, with a threat of war in the Pacific always on the horizon.

I’m not the most religious person in the world, in the last few years, I’ve tried to do a lot more reading of biblical scripture and other books, because things don’t make any sense right now.

It is best to pray for understanding while reading the Bible.The world doesn’t make any sense right now. Read back in Genesis when God first created the world and Adam and Eve had it made in the Garden of Eden. Perfect weather every day. No sickness. No politics, taxes or I-phones. You could walk up to animal and pet it. Well, that didn’t last long. Sin ruined everything. It is getting to get worse.

That's correct. Not everyone agrees with me but I'll say that rider on the first horse is the Antichrist, the Beast, the Man of Lawlessness, the Son of Perdition.

He's on a white horse because he's the False Messiah and he will be accompanied by the False Prophet (who arises immediately after him - Revelation 13).

This is the man I'm trying to warn the world about. He will "confirm" (somehow) 7 years of 'Peace and Security' - it could be (?) that war and insecurity reign just prior to that (the red horse notwithstanding, for more war will surely come). Hence the graphics. God bless you for reading (it's written in the text of Revelation).

It’s not a matter of being *religious*.

Becoming religious doesn’t do anything for a person.

The crux of the matter is settling accounts with God and that comes through asking for forgiveness for your sin because of the finished work of Christ on the cross.

When you do that, God WILL forgive you and give you spiritual life and the rest will happen.

The Christian life is the result of spiritual rebirth, the fruit of it, if you will, not the cause of it because nobody can be good enough to earn it.

End times prophecies can be very confusing. In part because the nations listed in the end times passages do not have the same names as the nations today do. But Syria used to be Assyria, Egypt is still Egypt, and what was at one time called Persia is modern day Iran.
