For decades thousands of Christian lovers of Israel have participated in the Jerusalem March that takes place during the biblical feast of Sukkot, the Feast of Tabernacles.
They do this in preemptive fulfillment of Zechariah 14:16, which tells us:
“And it shall come to pass that everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.”
They also do it in repudiation of Replacement Theology and centuries of Christian mistreatment of the Jewish people, and as part of a broader return to the Hebraic (read: Jewish) roots of their own faith.

And Romans 9:4-5 4 who are Israelites, to whom pertain the adoption, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the service of God, and the promises 5 of whom are the fathers and from whom, according to the flesh, Christ came, who is over all, the eternally blessed God. Amen.
And there has always since Jesus rose from the dead, always been a remnant of Jews who have accepted Him as Savior to be Saved. That number is growing exponentially over the past few decades - Praise God, Praise Jesus.
Romans 11:5 Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.
Israel will be judged by the LORDmore harshly for thier sins, but ONLY the LORD has a right to judge them. Meantime, pray that the view on the Jewish people continues to be removed.
Agree with your post. Unfortunately, there are some Christian missionaries who, quite frankly, make super nuisances (and fools!) of themselves, trying to get in people’s way (and faces) to “shove” a (distorted, imho) version of Christianty down innocent folk’s throats. Some of these people can behave really offensively. Its downright embarrassing.
There are differences between faith communities (and among many folks within any given faith community or church). Even a single individual may undergo changes in his/her understanding of religion and matters spiritual.
The essential thing here is that any faith is necessarily a matter of the Free Will that we are given in this life. Our Creator loves all of his creation including each one of us. He hopes for our love in return. But love is funny. It cannot be forced, it cannot be obtained by intimidation, standing in somebody’s way and shoving a missionary tract down his/her gullet, or insulting anybody or their faith commitment. Love can only come through the free will choice of a person.
While there are many ways to share one’s faith, the most effective way I’ve ever seen was the silent approach so often attributed to Saint Francis of Assisi. Live an examplary life and people will notice. They will come to you, they will ask what your “secret” is. Because we are all endowed with a desire to make our lives worthwhile and we are all inspired to seek out a “good connection” with the Divine. It works every time, smiles smiles.
Anyway, we can set my personal views aside except that I definitely agree that SOME missionaries or evangelists or Great Commissionaires do our Creator, themselves, and their targets/victims great offense by aggressive, disrespectful, and sometimes even insulting misquoting or mischaracterizations of scriptures or dogma.
Just my 2 shekels worth. Love it, like it, or delete it.. at your pleasure. I don’t ever attempt to shove my opinions down anybody’s throat.
Even for Israel, Jerusalem is a special place. With a population now at one million (double the size of Tel Aviv), at least 25% Orthodox Jewish and 35% Muslim. Tough place for Bernie Sanders clones that dominate Israel’s Deep State.

This is an interesting article by Joel Rosenberg.
He states that there are approximately 30,000+ Messianic believers living in Israel today. Also interesting is the idea that reluctant Jewish individuals have lots of options to investigate the claims that Jesus may in fact be their Messiah - with privacy and discretion. Many are curious and have real questions. My son and family has been living just outside of Jerusalem for the last 5 or 6 yrs. He attends Hebrew Univ. and also writes for this website. He has shared that he believes even some of his professors are most likely believes, but could not say so publicly. The Lord is moving among his people and it’s getting exciting!
Jerusalem is a Special place is an understatement!

Harmony between Jews and Christians is most ideal, but what would happen to Israel if there was not this anti-evangelist push? Christians should not let themselves be used by leftist factions in Israel to undermine its values and traditions even if Christian values and traditions seem to enjoy momentary advancement out of it.

Of course God does not reject the Jews, but he is calling them through the same one covenant in Jesus Christ. There are not two ways to salvation.

This remnant?
There is only 1 woman (church), Old or New testament. Those in Christ are a CONTINUATION of the seed of Abraham, heirs to the promise, grafted into the vine, a "true" Israelite, etc... God's REMNANT CHURCH keeps the commandments of God, and has the testimony of Jesus Christ. That is a fact.
Once again, the Christian church is a CONTINUATION of the seed of Abraham, of Isaac, WHICH IS OF CHRIST.
The “new” covenant?

It will not be like the covenant I made with their ancestors the day I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt. They broke my covenant, though I was their master. I concur with you 100% Unfortunately, 99.9% of “Christians” don’t, for two main reasons (New Covenant rejected as applying to them)
1. Made with the House of Israel/Judah (rejected as not applying to Christians...recited in the book of Hebrews, which they think means not applicable to those in Christ).
2. I will place my law within them, and write it upon their hearts (rejected because God’s law was nailed to the cross, fulfilled the law and thereby abolished, and of course, God’s law only applied to the Jews, not mankind. Anything Jewish, pre-Christ, is anathema, etc...).
The New Covenant is essentially the Gospel of Jesus Christ, sealed with His literal blood. The Gospel FIRST went to the Jews. When rejected by them, it went to ANOTHER, who would produce fruit. Those in Christ are now Israel. The New Covenant promises now apply to all those in Christ. Can that include literal Israel? Yes, but only if they come to Christ. As a literal nation, Israel is finished. Their last chance was up to the moment they stoned the prophet, Stephen. They are done. The literal fig tree is no more. Dead at the roots.
Those who reject the New Covenant of Jesus Christ, reject Christ, and I don’t care how much they protest otherwise.
