Just wanted to make sure you didn’t miss this:
“Unbelief is not mere mental dissent to elements of Christian doctrine or practice, but also contains the germ of all that goes with unbelief, such as disobedience and the unrighteousness disobedience causes. And the main germ of unbelief is cowardice, that is, not having the moral fortitude to make a covenant with God through Christ and stay with it faithfully until the end.”
I’m sure you’ll be fine.
Yes, it would appear that you do not believe that you are a party in the NEW COVENANT (agreement), mediated by Christ, and sealed/ratified with His literal blood. Somehow, you think this deal was ONLY made with LITERAL Israel. Yet, you celebrate the Lord’s Supper, and the wine/juice is representative of Christ’s blood OF THE NEW COVENANT. Do you just plug your ears and say la, la, la, la, la, when your pastor reads that part from the bible, so you don’t have to hear it? You just drink it because it tastes good? Doesn’t have any MEANING? Doesn’t make you wonder what that there newfangled NEW COVENANT is all about? What the terms are? What it means when Christ says He will write His laws into our minds and hearts, and He will be our God, and we will be His people? Were you promised eternal inheritance? You weren’t called? Doesn’t make you wonder what laws Christ is talking about? No? Nope. Crickets.
Hebrews 8: 10For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.
Hebrews 9:15For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance—now that he has died as a ransom to set them free FROM THE SINS COMMITTED UNDER THE FIRST COVENANT.
