An honest and outspoken defender of the right to life, Father Frank Pavone was a supporter of President Trump and a critic of abortion advocates.

Dec 17, 2022 — Priests for Life national director Fr. Frank Pavone has resigned from advisory positions in the reelection campaign of President Donald Trump.

The letter cited details obtained from the Congregation for Clergy that Pavone had been laicized Nov. 9 after being found guilty “of blasphemous communications on social media and of persistent disobedience of the lawful instructions of his diocesan bishop.”
I am not a Catholic but I sympathize with the good people who have to agonize over making plausible excuses for the decisions by the higher ups.
There is NO legitimate reason to hug and enable Pelosi and Biden as the Pope did. Or to permit illicit communion from the direct enabler and supporters of special abortion rights to affect large numbers of babies in the womb who will be killed as a result. Excuse “not direct participants in an abortion procedure” is really wimpy.
In the ‘40s my mom told a lady in the church, “You can’t be a Christian and be a Democrat.”
I''ll give you a hearty "Amen!!!" to that.
I am sure he is an expert on who is or isn’t the Pope.
