Rampant crime and corruption, unbridled sexual behavior and unnatural lust...wars and rumors of wars, Churches and falling away of believers...and a host of other events.
Sounds like the Catholic Church’s history.
If you look at John Wesley’s time, debauchery was at a peak to the point where they tried to kill him for talking about it. Even in the US, slavery and Jim Crow were rampant and supported by the churches. 1985-2005 was probably the peak for the church. Now we are just separating the sheep from the goats.
Abortion and child trafficking are also worthy of mentioning.
Anybody who thinks these are normal times doesn’t get it and never will.
