Each additional day with Francis is a day of wonder — wonder at how such magnificent melange of utter buffoonery, tackiness, ignorance, and malice could reach the see of Peter in this “enlightened” age. Maybe it is all a great plot by liberals to destroy papolatry once and for all.
Because when he isn’t promoting half-baked historical lies about despotic monsters, he is praising to high heaven the most influential heretic of the twentieth century, his fellow Jesuit (shocking) Teilhard de Chardin.
Catholics were warned about his works by the pontificate of none other than John XXIII himself. If that were not enough, Teilhard should also be radioactive even for any liberal-minded human being due to his persistently and well-documented racist rantings, his support of eugenics, and his praise even of Nazi Germany's medical experiments.
Francis' words, as the words of Teilhard itself, are a pretentious gobbledygook that makes the Christian religion out to be a pantheistic mess.
“This priest, often misunderstood, had intuited that ‘the Eucharist is always in some way celebrated on the altar of the world’.”
Sorry, you can't rehabilitate trash. Trash is trash. Some of it is recyclable, some of it is compostable, it's still trash. Teilhard is neither recyclable nor compostable, his work should remain forever burning in the landfill of non-theology.

This so called pope is nothing but an apostate and heretic.
Question for faithful Catholics. Is some sort of a Catholic Reformation or revival possible to depose this pope? What remedies do we have to defrock him?
His firs tname is Pierre, why is that omitted?
His natural death or his resignation. Could his resignation be forced? Maybe, but the vast majority of the hierarchy agree with him. The Vatican can't rightly be called a swamp as it is on a hill but more like an ivory tower.
Which makes me laugh because of the comparisons when Pope Francis was early in his pontificate there was a meme floating around comparing him with Benedict XVI and how Pope Francis was more austere in his dress and papal chair. A very ironic picture indeed and goes to show you cannot judge a book by its cover.
Didn’t he also try to promote the Piltdown Man and Peking Man as real?
FWIW, also the perpetrator of the Piltdown Man hoax.
“the perpetrator of the Piltdown Man hoax.”
He was just “following the science”...
Lol.
I am not Roman Catholic and I don’t know about all the charges against de Chardin in this post, but I do have this quote. He wrote, “From the dawn of time, humanity has been moving upward, drawn by the magnetic power of God, pulled upward by the lure of excellence, drawn out of the primordial slime, out of the swamps, out of primitive chaos. We are being pulled along by God’s goodness, drawn upward by Jesus Christ — upward toward the fulfillment that God will bestow upon us in God’s good time.”
“And every offering that we make, everything that is good and beautiful, everything that is rich in authentic excellence - music that soars and poetry that inspires, radiant windows that shimmer with light, experiences in worship that stir us, profound literature and deep prayer, great acts of heroism and little acts of courage, love offered freely and received joyfully, little children singing and older folks praying and giving, and so much more - are all examples of reaching for the best, lifting us regularly out of little swamps of despair and into the presence of God.”
Back in my productive years I kept a file of clippings I liked and might use. This was among them.
I read de Chardin’s “Phenomenon of Man” and “The Divine Milieu” about fifty years ago. Interesting guy; but kind of “out there” in some respects.
Having done a quick read of the statement, I understand the premise of the post. I will read and digest it later.
However, today’s church is definitely in need of a transformation. Since the social revolution of the 1960’s and 70’s the mainline churches have slowly but surely been turning their backs on traditional doctrines and values. Instead they have adopted the modern culture as their catechism. Traditionalist leaders both clergy and lay have been ostracized and forced out. And, unfortunately it is the House of Bishops (or equivalent) in these denominations who have led the way. We need strong leaders today to lead us back to the Church of our forefathers - the Church anchored in Jesus Christ.
What?
Pope Francis.
Most of us are old enough to remember when the quip, “Is the Pope a Catholic?” was meant as a joke.
Silly question.
Trump's first name is Donald, why is that always omitted?
Density, never mind....seems you are tone deaf....
You asked a stupid question...seems you won’t admit it.
Wrong premise, cannot correct a f...................
