You mock God with that post.
I was raised Catholic.
But, during my lifetime, I've learned to question everything, including religion. After all, all religious texts were written by humans, even if 'inspired by God'.
Id don't take anything at face value. I do however, believe that is a greater existence or designer or a creator. After all, there is nothing on Earth and in the heavens (universe) that could not have been intelligently designed, and I don't mean AI like with computers and programming.
Far too many things in the bible sound like fairy tales, and I'm pretty sure that, the creator is not going to punish me or anybody for using our minds like He or She or the Great Designer intended. I am a thinker and a believer, and I don't follow blindly..

Your choice.
We all are responsible for our decisions.
We’ll see how that works out for you.

My guess is that’s a hold over from being raised catholic.
You might have a better grasp if you believed the Bible the way the Bible was intended.
2 Timothy 3:16
King James Version
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
The problem with catholicism right from the start is that they teach that whenever there is disagreement between “their” religion and the Word of God, That their religion is the ruling authority.
You state that you question everything? Question that!
Sola Scriptura, learn it, embrace it!

But he used fairy tales to get the folks living in Israel to understand what he was talking about.
It's like having a parent telling his child a story. That's how Jesus treated us.

But isn’t faith following blindly in that you’re trusting in a Man you’ve never seen for your eternal life?
