The second Vatican council was approved by the world’s bishops at the time, it was and is a valid council, end of story.

Didn't the Council of Trent give the then new Jesuit order some credibility and even put the Jesuits in charge of the schools that trained priests and bishops? And weren't the Jesuits the loudest about papal supremacy and less power among councils?

Then to answer Lefebvre's question is that the Council of Trent members would probably support whatever the Vatican wanted.
