Pro-life Org Fires Employee After Viral Gospel Tweet +Being Blasted by Deranged Republican Lawmaker

Pro-life organization Ohio Right to Life has terminated their communications director Elizabeth Marbach, days after she shared the gospel on Twitter, according to a report by The Sentinel.

The fracas seemingly began last week after Marbach took a shot at a pro-choice activist, calling her a “murderous liar” for spreading pro-baby-killing propaganda.

The post resulted in her being called out by a Senior Ohio Right to Life official, who took exception with the tactic.

The rebuke was expected, as most pro-life organizations hate calling anyone associated with abortion a ‘murdere’r, ESPECIALLY a woman who poisons her child in the womb or uses scissors and scalpels to turn them into a slurry of blood and bone. Most pro-life organizations instead use soft tones, squishy words, and genteel speechcraft rather than the passionate and prophetic rhetoric that other groups like abortion abolitionists use, all to avoid potential fallout from a very public proclamation.

Ohio Right To Life is no different. After all, they are the same organization that refused to support any abolitionist legislation because it punished women for killing their babies, actively blocking these bills from becoming law.

Tensions high, the conflict was exacerbated after deranged Republican lawmaker Max Miller took exception to a post from Marbach expressing ‘There no hope for any of us outside of having faith in Jesus Christ alone.’ This prompted Miller to demand that she delete the tweet, calling it “one of the most bigoted things I have ever seen.”

Crucially, Miller’s wife, Emily, serves as a board member of Ohio Right to Life. This is convenient connection if there ever was one. Marbach refused to remove the post and instead doubled down:

After near universal blowback, Miller apologized, saying, “I posted something earlier that conveyed a message I did not intend. I will not try to hide my mistake or run from it. I sincerely apologize to Lizzie and to everyone who read my post.”

This is laughable and shouldn’t be believed for a second. As one commenter points out, “No, your tweet perfectly conveyed what you intended it to. You just didn’t expect the backlash & now you’re attempting to backpedal.”

Emily Miller was less apologetic, writing that while her husband shouldn’t have asked her to stand down from her faith, it was still wrong of Maybach to say what she said: “Max was wrong to ask someone to stand down from her religious views. He’s acknowledged that. But asking us to back down from our Jewish faith is also wrong. And we never will.”

Following this fight with Miller, which also irritated the Ohio’s pro-life pragmatists, The Sentinel reports that they tried to unceremoniously shuffle her out, but she refused.

Internal communications at Ohio Right to Life reviewed by The Sentinel showed that Marbach was offered the opportunity to resign from the entity or receive a transition period before her official dismissal, both of which she declined.

Though they have been relatively silent on the matter, Ohio Right to Life head Peter Range wrote in a statement that the decision to terminate Marbach was “not based on any single event as some on social media claim” and that they “appreciate Lizzie’s service and wish her the best in future endeavors.”

That must be “gospel” lowercase ‘g’.

Quite honestly I can see how a pro-life organization can have problems with what she wrote. The truth has left us long ago. The use of terms like baby killer and murderer should have never waned after Roe v. Wade. Now it’s nearly impossible for any organization that relies on donations to do that. My speech has remained consistent since the 70’s. Abortion is murder and everyone involved needs to criminally prosecuted as murderers. But I don’t work for a pro-life organization. It will take a ground swell from the grassroots, that’s individual people, to inject truthful words in the abortion debate.

When telling the truth is a sin you know Jesus is on his way.

I live in Ohio and have been actively involved in the Pro-Life movement for over 40 years.

To call the Ohio Right to Life a pro-life organization is a joke. They are an extension of the RINO Branch of the Ohio Republican Party.

I can give you account after account of them supporting barely pro-life candidates over 100% pro-life candidates...candidates who would have won if they had received the Ohio Right to Life’s endorsement.

Here’s an example of how out of touch with pro-lifers they are: This is the FIRST year they held a March For Life. The March For Life has been going on in cities across American since January, 1974.

Don’t send them a dime. There are other groups out there who actively work to save the unborn and help their moms.

“To call the Ohio Right to Life a pro-life organization is a joke.”

I don’t even live in Ohio and I’ve heard bad stories on them.

I won’t go into it but let’s just say I don’t think they wanted Roe overturned because it was job security for them.

I really need to examine where my money is going when giving to pro-life organizations. Never knew they could be anti-Christian gospel.

Let me put it to you this way and I’m sure bimboeruption would agree. They are for selling you the “Idea” of being pro life without actually ending abortion on demand in the nation or their state.

The push the idea but if they ever ended abortion they would be out of a cushy job.

what they don’t realize is you never really end abortion, it’s a constant fight.

Even with roe over the left still fights to kill babies and so Right to Life groups have to restructure and get a new battle plan as the left has already done.

The enemy never sleeps. Even with states that outlaw abortion the pro aborts try to help women go out of state for an abortion. Or smuggle abortion pills in. Videos on line on how to do at home abortions. Even back alley abortions. This is what you are fighting now.

Yea it as easy when just doing pro life marches but now that is over. Now the real battle is on. Now we see who the true heroes in the pro life movement are.

Well, ending polio didn't put March of Dimes out of business. They just need to update their mission statement and keep raising funds to support their salaries.

Easiest for a "Life" ministry would be to switch to anti-suicide. Infant mortality would work. Anti-slavery would be a bigger jump but could be made to work.

Put them in touch with me and I can help them protect their jobs if they want to get out of the nominal anti-abortion fundraising racket.

Sort of like BLM and NAACP. If the “racism” problem” was solved, all the race hustlers would be out of a job. No more multimillion dollar mansions (Patrice Cullors), frivolous lawsuits (Ben Crump) and $2,000 three-piece suits (the Rev’rund Sharpton).

“Murder” is a legal term which refers specifically unlawful killing.

To the extent that abortion is permitted or even protected by civil law, an abortionist is NOT a “murderer”. Calling an abortionist a “murderer” is therefore either libel or slander, and is actionable.

We have learned to be careful with our words and actions, to forestall “lawfare” by the left.

The writers at “Protestia” (whatever that is) speak from a position of profound ignorance.

“Murder” is a legal term which refers specifically unlawful killing.

I refer to murder from a religious perspective and I advocate laws, specifically at the state level, that codifies abortion as premeditated murder and treat those involved in abortion as murderers.

It is not libel or slander to discuss this. I am exercising my freedoms of speech and religion. Abortionists ARE murderers. They kill. They take innocent life in a methodical, planned, scheduled, premeditated and practiced manner. Abortionists are evil incarnate.

If anyone wants to avoid these truths because of the left’s lawfare, then obviously they are weak and not up to standing on the side of good. It is the inaction of people that allows evil to prevail.

then obviously they are weak

< sigh >

I have personally been a volunteer counselor at a pro-life pregnancy center. Have you?

We had limited resources. We also had enemies. We had to be wise as serpents, as well as being gentle as doves. (Sound familiar?)

That means, among other things, refraining from doing things that would open us up to accusations of assault, or battery, or slander, or libel.

You make sure never to block a client's access to the exit, or even give the appearance of doing so.

You make sure never to touch a client without express permission.

And you don't use language that would be libelous or slanderous.

Because the lawfare that would result from failing to abide by a few simple rules would be a fatal distraction from the mission.

Think the mission.

Say what you want when you're acting in your own personal capacity. When you're acting in your "official" capacity, take care not to jeopardize the mission.

It's easy for folks who haven't been there and done that to throw rotten tomatoes from the sidelines ... Don't be one of those folks. It just make you look ignorant.
