Islamic Pakistan
A Christian man Salim Masih has been accused of blaspheming Qur’an, so Muslim Mobs are ransacking and burning churches, Christian cemeteries, and Christian homes.
The anger is said to have been fueled by Muslim clerics whipping up mobs to attack Christians after a Christian man was accused (he claims falsely) of burning a Qur'an. The blasphemy laws are often misused in Pakistan to settle personal scores.
Christians are being hunted in the streets by Muslims chanting the Islamic battle cry, "Allahu Akbar," and Islamic "prayers". At the same time, the left-wing media tries to scheme how they can report on these religious attacks without mentioning Islam. (It's intriguing how the U.S. media consistently avoids highlighting the fact that Obama spent several weeks in Pakistan during his college summer vacation in 1981, staying in Karachi.)
The riots have been raging for over 10 hours, and the Islamic government is doing almost nothing but watching and cheering on their fellow Muslims.
Blasphemy is a crime punishable by death and often also ends up in mob violence against entire minority communities in Pakistan.
"When Pakistan was created in 1947, 23% of its population was non-Muslim. Today in Pakistan -- "Land of the Pure" in Urdu -- only about 3% of the population is non-Muslim. The Pakistanis, it is clear, do not want to host minorities: instead, they seem to be increasingly engaged in "purifying the land of the pure."
Westerners need to grasp that these attacks are deeply tied to religious doctrines justifying violence against non-believers and elevating honor and righteousness. Muslims carrying out these attacks are religiously driven, and the assaults on Christians aren't isolated acts but part of a broader Islmaic religious war against all non-Muslims. Whether or not these Muslims from Pakistan hate non-believers is secondary; their primary goal is glorifying Allah. They don't await orders or approvals – their faith and doctrine compel them to act.
