Elsie, are you under the New Covenant? What laws does Christ write in your mind and heart? The 10 commandments, that were included in the Old Covenant, that Israel continually broke?

Hebrews 8:

7For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.

8For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:

9Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.

10For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:

11And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.

Know the Lord...where have I seen that before? Oh, yeah.

1 John 2:3By this we can be sure that we have come to know Him: if we keep His commandments. 4If anyone says, “I know Him,” but does not keep His commandments, he is a LIAR, and the truth is not in him.

Elsie, do you KNOW Him?

You know that Hebrews was written to the Jews; right; so be sure to apply any teachings found there to the correct people.

What laws does Christ write in your mind and heart?

That very same question (if not the same wording) was asked long ago:

Matthew 22:34-46

34 But when the Pharisees heard that he had silenced the Sadducees, they gathered together. 35 And one of them, a lawyer, asked him a question to test him. 36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” 37 And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 38 This is the great and first commandment. 39 And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. 40 On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.”

Notice that the question was asked by one of those who apparently had the assurance of the LAW.
