The young woman in white who adored the Blessed Sacrament stored in plastic boxes at World Youth Day, has identified herself on social media as Savannah Dudzik, 23, a pro-lifer from Florida.
Savannah saw the boxes on the evening of August 5 and was told that “Jesus is in there.” She got angry, “How dare they disrespect our Lord?”
Then, she started praying the rosary in reparation. In her post, Dudzik calls the plastic boxes an “absolute disgrace,” “unworthy containers”, “incredible shame”. The priests she spoke to at WYD, agreed with her.
Before making her testimony public, Savannah wrote to US bishops, Vatican offices, the WYD organisers, and bishops' secretaries, but received no response.
On Gloria.tv, the plastic boxes were called "Tuppernacle".

No one is mentioning that the hosts had been consecrated...
A look behind the WYD Eucharist controversy
The WYD Foundation, which organized the entire Lisbon event, declined to comment officially on the controversy. But The Pillar spoke with a priest familiar with the details of the vigil and the final Mass.
The priest confirmed that the situation Dudzik observed in a tent did not follow the guidelines laid out by World Youth Day organizers.
“The instructions were for every tent to have the boxes stored underneath the tables, which were covered with tablecloths custom-made for this vigil. Five or six ciboria should have been placed on top of the tables, for adoration,” he explained.
Before making her testimony public, Savannah wrote to US bishops, Vatican offices, the WYD organisers, and bishops' secretaries, but received no response.
All this sacriege of Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament, while the USCCB frankenbishops are thumping their chests about a "National Eucharistic Revival".
Bunch of hypocrites.
Thanks, Ebb Tide! I guess the Hosts were consecrated, and the situation was not as bad as the first paragraphs made out.
Note that the WYD priest referred to “tablecloths”, not “altar cloths”, underneath which the consecrated hosts were supposed to be hidden.
