When Trump met Nixon and his wife Pat at some formal function. Later in a letter Nixon penned to Trump, made mention that Pat proclaimed that if he ever decided to run for President that he’d surely win.
Few people know that Nixon was a huge mentor to Trump.
Nixon was a mixed bag and most of it was not good for conservatives.
Nixon pushed regulatory agencies, instituted wage and price controls, and made poor appointments.
One appointment that Nixon initially spoke highly of was John Dean so we can take Nixon’s favorable view of Trump with that in mind.
