Yes on reflection that is a bit of an extreme comparison on my part. But creationists tell us that the earth is only 6,000 years old, and if that is the case it might as well be flat. I’m not a creationist in that sense, and I don’t think that God requires me to be. I can believe in God and the Bible and still have a realistic view of the world.
