An excellent case can be made for that argument. However, 9/11, Bush and the legislative fallout gave him the tools and Obama added rocket fuel! Stepping back a little bit, I’ve always felt the 1964 election of LBJ over Barry Goldwater as THE inflection point. It demonstrated the profound ignorance of the majority of American voters and opened the door for all subsequent hell.
yes, I consider the assassination of JFK as a demarcation point, and it probably could be, but I think most of us still loved the America that existed, for the most part, in the 60s, 70s, 80s etc. The new communist America is completely insane, and although we still love America, we have to acknowledge that the communists completely have the upper hand now.
I remember BJ Clinton pulling government weaponization shenannigans all the time int he 90s, but the big difference between then and now was that there was pushback. And the media, although biased, would still call him on it. B. insane Obama could do literally anything he wanted and the media just wouldn’t report on it, so it was like it never happened. And anyone questioning him was a ‘conspiracy’ nut. The media ran total cover for insane obama just like they’re doing now for pedo Joe and just like they colluded to destroy Trump. The media, i guess, is the biggest different between pre and post Barry Soetero.
No question that the falsely named Patriot Act was a weapon that G W MORON provided the deep state to use against American citizens. Instead of securing our borders and protecting US citizens, G W MORON and the neoCONs spent treasure and US blood abroad fighting pointless wars, while leaving our borders wide open and de-Christianizing America while falsely stating / admonishing Americans that Islam is “a religion of peace.” G W MORON sided with the enemies against Americans, while his admin. made huge amounts of money off corporate cronyism. Yes, G W MORON bears a huge amount blame of the fall of America.
But I still say Barry Obama was the demarcation line in America’s destruction.
