[Catholic Caucus] ‘The growth of Catholic theology’ - Pope Francis’ doctrinal chief speaks

Earlier this month, Pope Francis appointed Archbishop Victor Manuel Fernandez as prefect of the Dicastery of the Doctrine of the Faith.

The archbishop, an Argentine, had been since 2018 the Archbishop of La Plata, and was before that the rector of Argentina’s Catholic University — a role to which he was appointed by then-Cardinal Jorge Bergoglio.

On the other hand, there are expressions that are theologically correct but that can easily be misunderstood. For example, the expression “God does not bless sin” is certainly a phrase that Francis would not use so easily without making sure that respect is clear for what specific people might be experiencing.

So sin is no longer an absolute in Frankenchurch. It's a only dependent on an individul's personal experiences.

I will see what I will [be expected to] sign according to what the pope tells me, consistent with what we have already discussed.

In other words, Bergoglio, chose me to head his CDF because I'm his puppet and will sign whatever he tells me to sign.

The words of Jesus Christ no longer have meaning in this century..Jesus was okay for then, but today we need a “”new way of thinking””........

This crafty creep needs to read Leviticus 18:22 and 20:13.

It is unambiguous even to these losers who speak with forked tongue.

And if that is not clear enough for him, try Romans 1:26-27, and I Corinthians 6:9-11.

It does not matter what twisted synod-speak lies may try to justify, scripture is crystal clear.

“WOW! Bergoglio looks MISERABLE.”

Recent hernia surgery. Ongoing mobility problems. Closer to 87 than 86. He’s suffering a bit. If we live long enough, we’ll probably all get there. But God can use it for the great mysterious good, of little “c”, co-redemption.

We’ll have to see how things progress but his defense of “The inalienable dignity of each person” and his condemnation of “The individualistic, hedonistic and egocentric approaches to life that make the option for marriage, family and the common good difficult”, seem like condemnations of abortion, so-called gay marriage and gender theory to me.

Where is the alienable dignity of “out and proud” sodomites?

Persons of the homosexual orientation have dignity as human beings despite the unnatural acts they engage in. It is because they have dignity as sons and daughters of God that we call them to conversion and a more dignified way of life in the truth. I’m not speaking so much about obstinate “out and proud” homosexuals but of those troubled by what they do, who want to convert, and are open to messages of repentance that are not solely ones of you’re evil! condemnation. Notice the fine line Jesus walked with the woman at the well and the woman caught in adultery. He called them to conversion of life. He knew they were already deeply wounded by life and sin and didn’t just smash them into the ground.

You’ve spoken about your openness to investigating and possibly approving blessings for same-sex couples, so long as there is no confusion with marriage.

I would call any sodomites who want their "unions" blessed by the Catholic Church to be "out and proud", and Tucho is willing to investigate such a blessing.

So I disagree with you on calling the above position of Tucho to be a "condemnation" of "so-called gay marriage".
