I would (and certainly DID) leave because from the Pope right on down, the RCC IS an evil institution.

The Catholic Church is the Church that Christ founded. If you think Christ founded an evil Church, then there's no point in continuing this conversation.

No power on earth could make me leave the Catholic Church, because it doesn't belong to whatever prelates (good or otherwise) are currently running things. It belongs to God and all those who wish to follow Jesus Christ.

Yours is a work-based religion. Transubstantiation is a lie. Mary doesn’t want your “veneration”. She is not your mediator. You don’t need to confess to your “priest”. Baptizing infants does nothing spiritually for them. Your pope is not the vicar of Christ. When nuns levitate, it is Satan at work. Majority does not “rule” when it come to what is true. Your “church” did not preserve God’s Word, God did.
