The pastor then calculates the number of Sabbaths the average person keeps during his average lifetime and arrives at a startling number. 11 years! He says those are the number of years God added to the people who keep the Sabbath....Very interesting.

Well, that’s a fair and good question. The Sabbath was so big an issue in the new testament, it was something Jesus was accused of breaking. In fact, he risked his entire mission to restore the proper meaning of the sabbath and it’s blessing by performing a third of his miracles on the Sabbath.
He didn’t do that for circumcision. He showed the Sabbath was a blessin and made for man. He exalted the Sabbath. He threw out the bathwater but not the baby. He proclaimed himself LORD of the Sabbath too.
Jesus quoted from the ten commandments and it was the ten commandments he was referring to when he said NOT ONE JOT OR TITTLE to change till heaven and earth pass away.
So keeping the Sabbath was not an issue. It was the meaning of the Sabbath. In the middle of the Ten Commandments, the moral law is the Sabbath because in the Sabbath we see the LORD OF THE SABBATH and his name, title, and territory. Lord, God, creator of heaven and earth.
The apostolic church kept the Sabbath , Paul said the law was holy just and good, John saw the Sabbath in Revelation, the Lord’s day is the Sabbath, God is the Lord, he calls the Sabbath MY HOLY DAY. And in fact, John saw the ten commandments in heaven...Revelation 11 and Revelation 15. The tabernalce of the testimony is the ten commandments, the ark of the covenant contained the ten commandments.
Sunday keeping gradually crept into the church and Rome finally declared it to be the fulfillment of the Sabbath obligation. She is the great apostate and in fact the prophecy in describing the little horn in Daniel 7 predicted this change......Daniel 7:25.....”he shall think himself able to change set times and law”.....we know who the little horn is. A counterfeit religious power that the world will once again marvel at and she hates the Sabbath.
Soros and Clinton met with her this week, the world is marveling after her and yah......she hates the Sabbath because it rebukes her authority.
The Sabbath will in fact be the most controverted issue when the time of trouble starts because there will only be a big false counterfeit which the masses follow and a small remnant just as Revelation says.....”who keep the commandments of God.” And satan hates this remnant and makes war with them...Revelation 12:17.
Now, watch this thread carefully. YOu will see unity and contempt for the Sabbath across all denominations, The whore and her daughters unite on common doctrine in the end. And when things don’t get better as teh world is brought to it’ knees...those who don’t go along with popular worship will be labeled troublers.
When they couldn’t find anyting on Daniel in Chapter 6, they decided the only thing they could get him was something do with “The law of his God.”
And that’s what’s coming.....Anti Christ isn’t Sabbath or Sunday so much....as it is Intolerance. And watch how intolerant the people will get in this thread...and downright personal.

#1 It's not talking about the Sabbath.
#2 Jesus gave us His example of how to live. He obeyed the Sabbath.
#3 The Sabbath was made for man. That means all of mankind.
#4 The Sabbath was instituted at Creation as noted in Genesis.
#5 Gods Law is perfect and forever.

And He had to do so to perfectly fulfill the Law, which He was born under.

John 14:15 Jesus says “If you love Me, keep My commandments”. He is God, He is referring to “His” Ten Commandments
If the sabbath is a requirement, why are commandments 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 specifically mentioned in the New Testament but not commandment #4?
