I see. We need the Bible to line up with our belief, so we'll zoom out for the fuzzy picture.
(And of course when we need to, we'll zoom in for the close-up shot. We'll hold the Catholics to the close-up views, and we'll keep the comfort of the distant shots to ourselves.)
I read the comments by the Seventh-Day Adventists on this site; I have no use for their religion, but they are spot-on when they point the finger at the Protestants here for reading into the Bible to infer something that simply isn't there.
A get-together never mandated that the day of the Resurrection be the new day of worship.
The Apostles did it. If it was wrong based again on your opinion, you should let them know.
