Yeah we can’t seem to get past the part that Peter, inspired by the Holy Spirit first used the term “scoffer” and its apropos for this modern day and generation.
And it’s hardly “chest-thumping” to be doing what The Lord asked His Children to do.
You’ve got access to the same knowledge and information that I do - you just choose to ignore and deflect it. I was Roman Catholic for decades and finally decided to do some heavy intellectual study on what The Bible really said after a well meaning Priest gave me a very lazy answer to something I asked.
