Not that this had anything to do with anything, but the Los Angeles Dodgers were humiliated by their archrival this weekend after deciding to host and honor a group of anti-Catholic drag queens at their Pride Night event on Friday.
The weekend began as awfully as it ended for the Dodgers. On Friday, the team bestowed the “Community Heroes” award on the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, a group of drag queens who routinely mock the Catholic faith by performing grotesque sexual acts while using religious imagery, garb, and symbolism.
Fans barely outnumbered cameramen and security guards as the Dodgers honored the “Sisters” in front of what appeared to be 50 people.
Meanwhile, outside the stadium, thousands of pro-Catholic demonstrators protested and, at one point, even blocked one of the main entrances to the stadium.
As bad as things were for the Dodgers before the games started, they didn’t get any better once they started playing.
The Dodgers dropped their Pride Night game to their hated rival, the San Francisco Giants, 7-5. It got worse, though, much worse. On Saturday, the Dodgers were absolutely hammered by the Giants, 15-0, in the team’s worst home loss since the William McKinley administration.
And on Sunday, the Giants completed the sweep and took their first series from the Dodgers in Los Angeles since July of 2021 with a 7-3 victory. So, to recap, the Dodgers alienated thousands of their loyal fans, virtually every national and California-based Catholic diocese and political organization, and angered millions of Christians of every denomination nationwide.
Not to mention, you know, offending God.

God is not mocked.
One almost has to wonder if the team threw the game as the only way to protest being part of this perverted display?
was contemplating the same thing about bombing so badly.
Problem is the team that swept them is even more gay-friendly than the Dodgers.
I don't wonder at all. You don't lose 15-0 in the major leagues, ever, without tanking it at at some point. My guess it started on the first pitch.
Was wondering the same thing over the weekend. The Dodgers are a good baseball team. But to get beaten like they did makes one wonder. Don’t get God angry. There’s too much Scripture that tells terrible stories about that.
I think attendance was near normal. I guess one day of making a statement was all the CA a-holes could muster.
The Dodgers made a point of bringing out the Drag Queens when they knew there would be few people in the stands.
By later in the game there were probably about 40,000 in the stands.
Wonder if they were offered Bud Light after the game?
Maybe the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence like Bud Light??
My first thought was that the Los Angeles Dodgers haven’t been around for anywhere near that long ...
My second thought was, Brooklyn takes no joy in the team’s wins now, why drag them in when they lose?
Well said.
Its not about “Gay Friendly” its about mocking the Roman Catholic Religion and Nuns. Would they have honored a Gay mocking of the Moslems? “Gays for Mohamid” NEVER! They really take their religion seriously and would riot, kill and burn mockers! Tolerance is not part of their belief system and maybe that’s not a bad thing. They will die for Allah, will Christian put their lives on the line for Jesus? Mock away “Nuns”—God will get ya in the end.
FLASHBACK: San Francisco Giants Were ‘Deeply Embarrassed’ to Showcase Anti-Catholic Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence
Then they couldn’t even do a one day boycott, pathetic but what you would expect from LA.
God wants the Dodgers to fire Dave Roberts.
According to Jesse Romero, one of the Catholic organizers of the protest and prayer rally, about 400 local non-Catholic Christian churches and groups asked if they could play some kind of active role in the event. This included Calvary Chapel and Victory Chapel Outreach, two non-Catholic Christian groups that aren't always friendly to the Catholic Faith. They were welcomed in and the groups as a whole were invited to select prominent representatives to preach from the stage during part of the event.
This is a good example of how Christians can put aside their differences and work together in the face of challenges that threaten all Christians and our nation. It happened with abortion and now, please God, it seems to be happening against the Woke culture.
