I was so disappointed to see that Francis Shaeffer’s son turned away from his father’s positions and acts as if being the offspring of a “fundamentalist” is tantamount to being a deprived child. Shaeffer the younger did much of the video production of the pro-Life film WHATEVER HAPPENEND TO THE HUMAN RACE before falling into trendy thinking.

Schaeffer's son: a resentful, perhaps envious boy in rebellion against his father, whose footsteps the boy could not live up to. And so, he set out to tear his father down.

I have a lot of respect for Francis Schaeffer and in his youthful world travels Mr. GG2 spent time at L’Abri in Switzerland and became close with Francis Schaeffer and his wife.

I think Francis Schaeffer’s opinion that we are in a post Christian world was from his perspective which was post WW11. I’m not so sure he would say that today. I am seeing a spiritual awakening right now with people turning back to god. The message of the truther community is heavily Christian and is being listened to by millions of people worldwide. Even if they aren’t walking into a church they are becoming more spiritual and listening to the message of Christianity.

I am very hopeful that the next few years are going to be a huge reawakening.
