One of the most important, but neglected truths in the Bible
"Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters? Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?" -- 1 Corinthians 6:2-3.
The False Kingdom of Heaven, the 666 Beast System, which the world is working towards, mirrors this passage. The great natural goodness and moral superiority of the worldly, qualities which many atheists, for example, believe they possess, qualifies them (at least, the more naturally intelligent and able among them) in their thinking to rule as absolute secular judges over humanity. In their view, Jesus' parable of the wheat and the tares may be applied, but they are the wheat, and those who oppose them, especially the godly, are the tares. And they assume that both have grown together until such a time as the worldly wheat attains the power to be the "rightful" absolute rulers over the earth.
His "Constitution" of Heaven, or Ours?
The "Constitution" of the Kingdom of Heaven is God's Word, and the "short form" is the New Testament. That is what the saints who will judge will be ruling from, not their own fallible judgments, including their own fallible judgments on God's Word. While claiming to be superior in knowledge and to be the chief defenders of democracy and human rights, political liberals have ignored the reality of "Made in China," although just about everything they own comes with that label. Sadly, the church in America has often been doing something similar: ignoring all that the New Testament says about worldliness, though it's just as plain as "Made in China."
"Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world." -- 1 John 2:15-16.
As Jesus said, the devil speaks from himself. And that is what he tempts man to do, going back to the Garden, when he deceived Eve into substituting her own judgment in place of God's. There's no cheating God or offering Him garbage in substantial amounts. No Christian, no matter how mature, perfectly serves God. But to qualify to judge and rule with Him, we have to be submitted fully to His will in our wills, giving Him absolute permission to rule over our entire lives. Nothing can be off limits to Him to change according to His wisdom.
Discretion
Yet God's Word isn't dry like the IRS Code, or even the U.S. Constitution. This "ERS Code," (of the "Eternal Revenue Service"), is written according to the Spirit, not the letter of law. And it demonstrates that the judges, and the Judge who is over all, will exercise DISCRETION.
"Judicial discretion refers to a judge's power to make a decision based on their individualized evaluation, guided by the principles of law," Cornell University Law.
Even with worldly judgment, our criminal and civil judges usually have a certain amount of discretion in exercising their powers. This is so the individual circumstances of a case can be rightfully met. God customizes His judgments to our circumstances according to what is appropriate in His perfect wisdom.
Dikaios and Tzaddik
Mentioned dozens, even hundreds of times, in God's Word is the word "just." And Jesus Himself is referred to as "the Just One."
Link for verses on "just" in God's Word below, from a word study I did several years ago.
God haw already judged what is right and wrong. I only have to judge if you committed the offense.
I think you are seeing it clearly. In Deuteronomy 1:13, Moses was to choose leaders who were wise, understanding, and experienced (ESV). Another translation says, wise, discerning, and experienced.
The modern 666 cabal in charge today has neither wisdom nor discernment and values neither. It values “knowledge” and “intelligence” as taught in modern universities. No wonder the Last Days are coming into view.
This is a different sort of judgment, not of this fallen world, but after the return of Christ and His kingdom fully comes.
Yes, it’s very similar to in Deuteronomy.
Right now, in so many ways, a false, worldly “kingdom of Heaven,” which mirrors the true one, is being set up. Jesus wanted and wants His followers to be one. Unity.
And politics claims to be, underneath it all, “the way, the truth and the life.” The Democratic Party and the “neo-Enlightenment” is especially offering that.
