Why does everyonw resign? That is how we lose these institutions to these totalitarians.
For cops, once they have been targetted by the administration, they are going to be fired over some procedural conduct policy. Cops walk such fine lines that it is inevitable that they will break policy and that will be used to get rid of them.
It is in their best interest to go somewhere more friendly before that happens.

Exactly. The threat to “defund the police” was intended more to sensitize police departments to the demands of the Left’s shakedown organs.
Meanwhile, weakening of local police forces together with strengthening of federal police agencies concentrates power in DC, where the uniparty globalists want it.
He’s got grounds for a 1st Amendment challenge.
