One could name any widely-practiced religion and it would fit within the "accepted" category by Francis and his co-religionists. Is Islam acceptable? Yes! How about Buddhism? Yes! All varieties of Protestantism? Yes, of course! The Catholic Faith believed and practiced by the saints? Never again!

Yes, the whole liberal Catholic shtick collapses on its own contradictions.
Bergolio is the self-styled enemy of tradition... and yet tradition is the basis of his own authority.
Liturgical development can only go forward, never backward. Yet the Novus Ordo itself was sold as a “back to basics” liturgy that allegedly cleared away centuries of accretions and redundancies... and a rediscovery of the practices of the early church. Hell, they’re trying the same thing now with the concept of deaconesses, claiming some archaeological basis for it in Church history. Why isn’t that “backwardism” too?
