Of course we can know the general time frame. God never kept it a secret and even Jesus gave us that information.

But the specifics, even that is not given.

Same with Jesus first coming. They knew the general, even to the point of knowing the town of His birth, but not when, which is why so many missed Him. It didn’t happen they way they expected it to happen, therefore, it didn’t happen. And they missed it. That’s the problem with putting God in a box.

For my sense of well-being, if men like John Darby and H.A. Ironside could hold this view, and I have tremendous respect for their biblical knowledge and understanding, why is it so difficult for others to do the same? Is it because chapter 12 is nestled snuggly in the middle of chapters 6-19, for which many Pre-Tribulation scholars, pastors, and even I, had cordoned off as “tribulation territory?”

The sign in Sept 2017 did not happen during the tribulation. Is it possible that Revelation 12 is not during the tribulation? The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord and of his Christ; and he shall reign forever and ever. This is what happens when Christ returns. I think that the seventh trumpet is the second coming. Read it carefully,

The time of the dead that they should be judged.

But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel when he shall begin to sound the mystery of God should be finished.

Thou must prophesy again before many peoples and nations and tongues and kings.

Revelation 11:18 starters the second prophecy. Chapter 12 goes back possibly 2000 years.
