According to rigid Traditionis Custodes, Las Vegas Bishop George Thomas was allegedly forced to move the Mass away from St Bridget's because it is a parish.
He knew that Rome would reject a request to continue celebrating Mass at St Bridget's. So, he found an alternative: The Shrine of the Most Holy Redeemer.
in a letter dated May 1, he wrote: “Maintaining access to the Traditional Latin Mass is an important value for me as the chief liturgist in the diocese.”
The new location is much better for the "vibrant community" (Bishop Thomas). Now, confessions can be heard before Mass, movable feasts, Holy Week and other Sacraments such as First Communions or Weddings can also be celebrated. None of this was possible at St Bridget's.

One of the few truly Catholic bishops.

I go to Las Vegas occasionally, and, yes, this is a big improvement at least for the considerable number of TLM-going visitors to Vegas. While St Bridget’s was nice, it was in a residential neighborhood miles removed from the Vegas Strip. The new venue is right on the Strip, and this will be a boon at least for visitors to the area. It is undoubtedly a loss, though, for St Bridget’s own parishioners who love the TLM.
One of the most heart-wrenching scenes I have ever witnessed was a Catholic priest in an attitude of complete humility asking for donations as the crowds passed. This was close to the Flamingo hotel several years ago.
The contrast between the evening heat, the happy crowds rushing here and there and the black clad priest was startling.
Yes, I donated.
The two churches are only 7 miles apart, about a 22 min drive.
I would take that additional time to attend a TLM.
