We boomers came down pretty hard on Gen-X and Millennials too, although they seem to be tempering as they get older. This newest generation seems to be a very different group of animals.
I’m waiting for Gen AA to come and save us all from the Doom we older Gens created.

I don't support bailouts, but it would serve the older generations right to have to pay off the student loans via bailouts. We told our kids to get an education so they could find high paying jobs, then sent the high paying jobs out of the country and left them with service jobs saying "Fries with that?".
We allowed our infrastructure to collapse while paying the Chicoms to rebuild their infrastructure.
We funded their military build up at the expense of ours, but we would waste no time calling the GenZ losers if they didn't volunteer to fight that military.
All so we could save $.10 on communist made paint brushes.
If we're to be judged based on the world we left for our kids, then we have some serious repenting to do.
There's another accountant who's Gen Z. He's very punctual about leaving at 5 every freaking day. My boss sees it, too, of course. He's stuck with Gen Z until tax season is over.

Or brought in millions of H1-B Indian and Chinese programmers to work in the few remaining high-tech jobs that have not been out sourced yet.
Even the trades/vocational jobs are not a gaurentee. I know someone who graduated from Triangle Tech with electrician degree and is having trouble even getting interviews. This is in the Allentown area of Pennsylvania. The good jobs are hard to come by.
That is only 1/3 of the story. The tech jobs in the USA were filled with importrd H-1B scabs who hate the USA and steal our kids jobs.
Dependence on social media has rendered them incapable of effective interpersonal relationships and destroyed their capacity for critical thinking. The Generation Z is aptly named, as it is the last generation that will be born in America as we know it.
I don't have any beef with them. They followed the laws we passed.
And they didn't steal the jobs. Americans chose them over their own kids and gave them the jobs.
I can't say they're wrong either, I've seen too many people who did "all the right things" and it got them nowhere. For a lot of kids in High School, all they've ever known is an America in decay and I can't blame them for feeling the way they do.
I worked with youth for 32 years. This new gen terrifies me as they seem intent of self destruction.

Uhhh wut? I too just want to be left alone. Those who go miles out of their way to not leave me alone are not religious unless you count global socialists and Gaia Worshipers. They're generally not White or if they are, express their undying hatred of White people and of the West, and they are Leftists, not Conservatives. She has it exactly backwards.

Gen Z seems to only care about who “likes” them on social media and significantly lacks the simple practical ability to THINK their way out of a wet paper bag.
A feature and not a bug. They have been sold on communism and want to burn it down so they can build nirvana.
